Quite simply, Scott, similar to the Velcro on the belt, it was what the customer requested. All our straps/belts are custom and made to order based on the specs the customer wants. We absolutely could do the strap in the shape of the original replica, it’s entirely possible, but so far no one has requested it. I’d love to see it be done, so maybe one day someone will pull the trigger. - Tommy

Thanks for the comment. Yeah certainly not a great standard. Unfortunately I have heard similar stories more and more often from the US store in the recent years too. Ever since WWE shifted all merch operations to Fanatics the quality control has appeared to drop significantly. Very unfortunate
